Chilli contains a special element called capsaicin. This element accelerates the process of metabolism, helps in weight loss and also prevents arterial diseases. But it should not be consumed in large amounts.

If you like foods with spicy and chilly spices, be careful. A new research has revealed that people who eat too much chili have a bad effect on their memory. According to this study there is a risk of dementia in people who eat chilies. Dementia is a disease in which the memory of the person becomes weak and it has to face many problems in all the everyday activities.

According to this study, the risk of dementia increases by 2 times in those who eat more than 50 grams of chilli daily. This causes the person’s memory to become weak and the ability to recognize things begins to decrease. Researchers have reached this conclusion after 15 consecutive years of study. This research has been done on 4582 people, whose age was 55 years or more. Research found that people who consumed more than 50 grams of chili daily, their memory weakened. These studies have been published in the journal Nutrients.
